my latest CD - The Magic of Gayatri

I would like to share some information about the release of my latest CD -
The Magic of Gayatri.

It is an unusual CD, inasmuch as I have stepped out of my regular comfort
zone and have joined forces on this one with another recording artist,
Chandra-Shekar.

The CD is a musical and descriptive journey with an ancient prayer, The
Gayatri Mantra.

Chandra-Shekar, who also lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, has returned
to his Indian roots to understand and reimagine the ancient Gayatri Mantra
which had been given to him by his father when he was ten.

It is a wonderful tool for meditation, yoga and healing. It seems to have
both a soothing and heart opening quality.

Even though the CD stands on its own, it has a worthy cause attached to it.
A third of the net proceeds from the CD will go to The Rakum School for the
Blind in Bangalore, India. The sale of just one CD means that 6 to 8 meals
can be provided for the blind orphans that live and learn there.
